Deanna Mae (she/her) has been a performer her entire life, beginning with the title role in Oliver at the tender age of ten, and then carrying on to a wide variety of roles from Shakespeare to Norm Foster to Edward Albee.  Trained in Music Theatre, she spent several years directing and choreographing musicals at a Junior High School, leading worship at various churches, performing monologues for audiences large and small and generally keeping the love of theatre alive while raising a family.  In  2017 Deanna Mae returned to the stage as a full time pursuit and began her transition to Film and TV in 2020.  She has since had principle and lead roles on several productions and obtained full ACTRA status in late 2023.   Deanna Mae is a fearless “actor’s actor”, giving of her time and energy generously to her scene partners and displaying a professional attitude at all times.  She is also a writer and producer, and has a 3-feature partnership with Troy Pictures.  Always seeking to better her craft, Deanna Mae has trained with RaW Actors Studio, Six Degrees, Rogue Actors Studio, and numerous workshops as well as over two years of private coaching.  Her film “Empty Nest” was a nominee at CIFF in Montreal.
